Clayworks UK is based in Manaccan, on the Lizard Peninsula of Cornwall. It is a company specialising in the new build and restoration of earthen structures, known as ‘cob’ in the South-west of England.

We also manufacture a variety of clay plasters as well as run training courses in clay plastering. We believe in building with unfired clay and hope to help make this material more widely used.

We approach all of our projects with an ecological ethos. We are actively involved in the restoration of ancient cob buildings and the construction of new buildings using a variety of earth building techniques and we work with lime and clay finishes on a daily basis.
